Can't help but show off some of our weeds... Don't know what the yellow ones are called but they're everywhere at the moment and rather stunning. The cream and pale blue hydrangea was also a rather nice gift from nature.

Weeds
Can't help but show off some of our weeds... Don't know what the yellow ones are called but they're everywhere at the moment and rather stunning. The cream and pale blue hydrangea was also a rather nice gift from nature.
Water filters and other things
Daisy sanded and sealed the floor in the upstairs balcony so apart from a bit of paint that's that bit finished.

The bottles in the stairwell wall look particularly nice now that the wall around them has been painted white, and the sun seems to shine through even when the sun's not on that side of the house!
The back bedroom is very welcoming with its fresh lick of paint.
Celso is now close to finishing the filters for the rainwater to go through before it goes into the water tanks.
Also in sight is our wonky sink in true Mexican style - it wouldn't line up with anything no matter how we positioned it.

Apples and Pears
Pedro the blacksmith is a rapid worker and the bannisters suddenly appeared in all the flights of stairs. We're going to put a wooden railing along the top of them, and obviously they need a good sanding down and a lick of paint.
Saúl has done a lovely job as usual of putting the terracota tiles on the vertical faces of the steps. We've now bought the wood for the tops of the steps too, but it will need a while to dry out after having been treated.
Progress in the bathrooms
